Second visit to Kotia

Date: 07/06/2025 We left Semiliguda at 10:30 am for a tour to Kotia Gram Panchayat of Patangi Block. We took the Kuluri road directly on the right side of the Deomali Hills, from Galaguda, through Dhuria Block, to Badamarla Village, then from Malirmala, Kedarkata to Dumuriguda and Kasuguda intersection, through Thuria, then to Galipadar Village in Taupad. after crossing the Kurudipadar intersection, we reached Kotia Village. The time was about 1:30 pm. There was the first intersection. There is an Anganwadi Center of the Odisha Government, a little further is Kotia Police Station. Near Jagannath Mandap in the middle of the village is the house of the Panchayat Sarpanch. There we asked Santosh Khil P: Sana Khil and inquired about the house of Liu Gemal, the Sarpanch here. The Sarpanch’s wife came from home and told us that he was not there, and that he had gone to Andhra since morning.
After that, we asked two girls sitting right in front of the Sarpanch’s house, their names and educational qualifications. One was Bhumi Pangi P. Tinge Pangi + 2, a second year student of G.J. College, studying in Andhra, while the other said that Sushmita Pangi P. Tinge Pangi + 2 was studying in Odisha; they remained silent when asked the name of the college.
So we continued on that road, saying we were going to Andhra Pradesh. After about 500 meters, we saw houses on the left and 3 to 4 autos and two mini trucks were parked on the left side of the road. The workers who had come from Andhra Pradesh got into them and went to Andhra Pradesh. They came across a water tank about 15 km along the road. Which was written by the Andhra Pradesh Government in Telugu. It was written. On the way back from there, only 2 km away, we came across a village called Upper Semi, which some people called Odisha village. There was a suspicion that it was connected with both Andhra and Odisha states.
In fact, the truth is that in the last 10 years, crores of people have gone to Andhra Pradesh. There, a youth from Andhra Pradesh has parked his bike at the foot of the hill and has taken the Odisha tribals to the top and cultivated acre after acre of strawberry, banana, potato and vegetable crops through paddy cultivation. It is true that Odisha has looted the hills! But in return, they are supplying vegetables to Odisha. Along with providing income to the local people, they are also providing full cooperation and assistance from the Andhra Pradesh Government.
It is no exaggeration to say that instead of the Andhra government, local NGOs from Andhra Pradesh have come there and have also spread the social, economic and educational development of the tribals. Only one thing is true! That education has really spread, the income of the people of the local area has also increased, they are generating a good two paisa by cultivating bananas, strawberries and vegetables, but all the villagers do marketing in Andhra.
Bananas are given to Andhra traders. Which are again found in Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Our intention is not to provide knowledge to the government or to those who are spreading false news, but to provide knowledge to the truth! We have asked and understood what we have seen with our own eyes. We are publishing it.
This is true. The road in the dense jungle is difficult, the road is difficult, the road is difficult, but the road from Andhra to the hill station with electricity, water facilities, and the fact that you will be able to move forward will be true, because banana farming and vegetable farming in the mountains are a profitable business for the Andhra government and a source of income for the Andhra youth, along with this, if you keep the hills of Odisha covered, you will get a lot of benefits in the future.
It is said that there is no share for the sleeping poor, there is still time to come. The brothers and sisters of the government and private organizations together and we, along with our crores of brothers and sisters, will think about his progress and find a way to bring him back to us, it will definitely be successful. We will not just talk about it. We will show it in action, we are the glory of Utkal, Madhubabu, Gopabandhu Ma Ramadevi, remembering our crores, our Odisha province, we are Odia, our language, Odia, our Saag, Badichura, Pakhal, Vhari Badhia.
