Field Review & Scope
A 5-member delegation from Mission4Care India Foundation (MCIF), led by Senior Advisor Ramesh Chandra Samal, Secretary Chinmayee Das, and President Manoj Kumar Das, conducted an extensive field visit across Koraput and Malkangiri districts to inspect development projects, engage tribal populations, assess agricultural needs, and review environmental initiatives.

To assess grassroots ground realities, advocate for border tribal welfare, enhance agricultural yield, protect local ecosystems, and foster pride in Odia language and cultural identity.

Major Findings & Policy Recommendations

1. Border Demarcation & Language Awareness: Joint petition to State Govt to safeguard border territory and promote Odia language education.

2. Agricultural Yield & Marketing: Partnering with District Agriculture Officer Gokulananda Pradhan & NABARD to establish fair market prices for Kalabati rice, finger millet (Mandia), ginger, and turmeric.

3. Forest Produce Protection: Ensuring fair prices for minor forest produce (MFP) for tribal gatherers.

4. NGO Network & Community Mobilization: Empowering local youth and SHGs through vocational training.
With dedicated collaboration between Government departments, NGOs, and local tribal leaders, Koraput and Malkangiri can overcome geographical barriers and emerge as model districts for sustainable development.
